A new quick easy take on a delicious Tiramisu โ๐ฅฐ
Tiramisu is an elegant and rich layered Italian dessert made with delicate ladyfinger cookies and espresso coffee.
1. Dip each finger biscuit into the cooled coffee and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
2. In a separate bowl, whip the cold evaporated milk until it becomes thick and airy, similar to whipped cream.
3. Spread a layer of melted chocolate on your biscuits
4. Then cover in a layer of 1/3 caramel mixed with 1/3 of the whipped evaporated milk
7. Finish off with a final layer of whipped evaporated milk and garnish with some toasted almonds.
8. Refrigerate the Chocolate Caramel Tiramisu for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
This simplified version of chocolate tiramisu skips the raw eggs and mascarpone cheese, making it an easier and quicker alternative.
